Hand-held Magnifiers

Our newest generation of LEDs and SMDs are even brighter and provide a broad, even field of light. Choose between Yellow, Teal, Warm White or Cool White Multi-Chip LEDs, or Neutral White SMD.

Each Hand Held Magnifier comes with: a lens cloth bag and protective box, large print instructions, high contrast battery directional images, a limited lifetime warranty. They can also be custom labeled.

Hand Held SMARTMag LED

Individuals are more comfortable with certain colors of light based on their eye condition and the environment in which they are using a magnifier.

Our LEDs emit targeted, angled light.This can make a difference when someone is using a lower powered magnifier, when the viewing area is largest. LED options include:

White Light: a matter of patient preference and eye comfort

Warm White ~3800K
Cool White ~7000K

The white LEDs emit light in a 75-80 degree angle.*

Colors: ideal for certain conditions and contrast needs

Yellow ~570nm (good for photophobia)
Teal ~520nm (good for glaucoma)

Yellow LEDs emit light in a 75-80 degree angle. Teal LEDs emit light in a 40-50 degree angle.*

Hand Held SMARTMag SMD

Our SMARTMag SMDs emit a full 360-degree circle of light and are great for larger fields and lower power lenses. These Surface Mount Diode (SMD) LEDs are more energy efficient than our standard LEDs, and feature a complimentary lanyard for on-the-go use. Our SMDs feature a Neutral White light that measures ~5500K.
