Stand Magnifiers

SMARTMag Stand Magnifiers provide stable support for readers who need a hands-free magnifier for steady, easy use. They capture the light by enclosing and brightly lighting up the viewing area directly under the lens housing. Choose between Yellow, Teal, Warm White or Cool White Multi-Chip LEDs, or Neutral White SMD.

Our Stand Magnifier packaging includes: a recommended viewing distance chart, large print picture instructions, a lens cloth bag and protective box, and a long battery life. They can also be custom labeled.

SMARTMag LED

Our SMARTMag LEDs emit angled light.* The white LEDs emit 75-80 degrees of light, and colors emit 40-50 degrees. Options include:

White Light: a matter of patient preference and eye comfort

Warm White ~3800K
Cool White ~7000K

Colors: ideal for certain conditions and contrast needs

Yellow ~570nm (good for photophobia)
Teal ~520nm (good for glaucoma)

*Angled light emission becomes less important in a stand magnifier, as the light is trapped inside the housing and reflects off the interior walls - visually reducing the angled beam of light.

SMARTMag SMD

Our SMARTMag Surface Mount Diode (SMD) LEDs emit a full 360 degrees of light and are brighter and more energy efficient than our standard LEDs.

Our SMD Stand Magnifiers feature: a more tactile on/off switch, a hinged stand handle for easy battery replacement, an adjustable stand tab for use across all powers and lens sizes, and a small, adjustable diffuser shade to modify the amount of light emitted
