Vision Assessments, Charts & Tests

We provide a variety of vision tests to assist in low vision evaluation and rehabilitation - contrast sensitivity, scotoma mapping/preferred retinal locus (PRL), continuous reading, low vision, etc.  Popular tests include Snellen, Colenbrander, ETDRS, LEA, MARS, MN Read, SKRead, and CCVFT.

The California Central Visual Field Test (CCVFT) is made in-house by Mattingly Low Vision. This PRL Assessment uses a series of lasers to map scotomas and determine the locations of a patient’s blind spots. This information can then be used to teach patients eccentric viewing to work around their scotomas and maximize their vision.
